YM/YW Combined Activity next week: Christmas Caroling! December 12th @ 6:15 at the Saginaw HS south parking lot. Permission slips are needed. Bring a baked good as a gift for the residents and staff at The Harrison at Heritage.

YM/YW Combined Activity 11/14/18

This week is a combined activity at Topgolf Fort Worth.  We have reserved 3 hitting bays with unlimited soft drinks for the youth.  The hitting bays are climate controlled so we won't be out in the elements.  It is going to be a really fun night!  We are meeting at the Kroger parking lot at 6:15pm to head over there.

Swim Checks for Summer Camp 2018

This Wednesday, 5/23/2018, we will be having swim checks for summer camps. Emerson S. will be administering the tests at the Bar C Ranch community pool located at:

8325 Comanche Springs Dr, Fort Worth, TX 76131

We will be meeting at the pool @ 7:00. If you are unable to attend please let your YM leaders know. We have plans for the same activity next week to allow anyone that missed it to make it up. If there is nobody that needs a swim check next week, it will just be games at the pool. For reference the swimmer classifications and requirements are listed below.

Swimmer 

• Jump feet first into water over the head, level off, and begin swimming.
• Swim 75 yards in a strong manner using one or more of the following strokes: sidestroke, breaststroke, trudgen, or crawl; then swim 25 yards using an easy resting backstroke.
• The 100 yards must be completed without stops and must include at least one sharp turn.
• Rest by floating…Long enough to demonstrate ability to rest when exhausted.

Beginner 

• Jump feet first into water over the head, level off, and begin swimming.
• Swim 25 feet on the surface.
• Stop, turn, and resume swimming back to the starting place.

Non-Swimmer 

• Did not complete either of the swimming tests.

2018 Troop 349 Garage Sale

This year, Troop 349's garage sale will be on Saturday, April 14 from 6AM to Noon at Ballard Family Dentistry located at 701 W Bailey Boswell Rd, Saginaw, TX 76179.  Please spread the word and stop by to support the boys.

3/27/2018 Court of Honor

This week we will be having a Court of Honor on Tuesday, March 27th instead of Wednesday. Both youth and adults are requested to attend to support the youth in their efforts in becoming an Eagle and the great young men they are.
